Rooted in Hangberg
We are a rehabilitation day centre in Hangberg, a neighbourhood of Hout Bay on the mountain slopes between Hout Bay Harbour and the Sentinel. Many residents work in fishing and other harbour industries.
Unemployment, community challenges and the hardship that followed Covid-19 have made it harder than ever to get treatment, care and counselling, especially for people who cannot pay.

Hangberg Dreams NPC was established in response to the serious and growing challenges facing people in the grip of addiction, and the barriers that keep them from treatment and support.
In our safe and secure environment, people discover their own abilities and learn new skills for a healthier, richer, more stable and structured life.
